Music Review: 砂月-SATSUKI- – ARTEMIS

砂月-SATSUKI- has already started his European tour and his new single is already out. Being honest, this is my first time listening and reviewing CD of 砂月-SATSUKI- and I’ll be try to be exhaustive. I’m fan of Satsuki’s former band, so I’m sure this is going to be good.

I’ve got the physical CD for review, which is available for purchase in all live during the tour.

The CD begins with intro, titled “CROSSOVER”. It’s short, begins mystical and introduce us to 砂月-SATSUKI-‘s world and then it turns more rock, but also with some soft sounds. Prepare us for the rest.

The main song “ARTEMIS” is a catchy song, in typical 砂月-SATSUKI-‘s style. His familiar voice makes me feel good, the melody is up-beat and very memorable. The chorus is easy to remember and the guitar solo and drums perfectly fit. The whole song is pure masterpiece – such as only Satsuki can make and sing.

artemis satsukiThe final song from this release is titled “SELENE”. This is the longest song in the release. It’s a bit more lyrical than “ARTEMIS” and rewinds me back in the past – I have no idea why I have this feeling. I can perfectly here all the words and can sing along with him. Kind of a song, that brings me some melancholic feelings. Well structured, with nice melody and good instrumentals. Great work!

Now I can really say that the whole release is very good. It worths to buy. I’m sure that anyone can enjoy it and feel the pleasure of listening the songs.

Global note: 10/10
